Guide to the NRIB


NRIB is a research organization for alcoholic beverages , which is engaging in business in accordance with the purposes set out under NRIB Law (Law No. 164 in 1999).

Consisting of 51 personnel including 1 President, 1 Vice-President and 49 staff, plus 2 auditors. They are engaging in business in 7 divisions. (As of Oct. 1, 2008)

The main office is in Hiroshima, while there is also an office in Tokyo.

From the "Jozo-Shikenjo" era which was established back in 1904, we have been pursuing business such as research, lecturing, the dissemination of technology and awards for alcoholic beverages.

We conduct educational research based on collaborative research and affiliated graduate school systems.

We provide technical consultation service.

A facility tour is on offer to the public at the Hiroshima office. A reservation by around 10 or more persons is required.
