Awards & Contests
We aim to investigate current manufacturing technologies and trends in order to contribute to the improvement of sake quality and enhance public awareness.
Honkaku Shochu and Awamori are Japanese liquor distilled using a pot still. This contest aims to assess current manufacturing techniques and trends in liquor quality, and share this information with manufacturers.
Each regional taxation bureau in Japan holds a sake award to raise the technical level of sake manufacturers in each region and these awards contribute to the sound development of the sake brewing industry in Japan.
GUIDE BOOKSNRIB, in cooperation with Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association, is transmitting the information of sake, shochu, etc abroad.
